Always good to see another Super Duty owner in here! If you were in Omaha, you could see Joe, he works at Performance Ford, and works on a lot of the members trucks. He's a great mechanic! Maybe some of the Lincoln guys will chime up. Been kind of quiet in here this week, a lot of the guys are off on vacation.
I hope so, i drove up to the casinos last night. filled before i left and this moring.
about 11.9 mpg average. with some in town driving in omaha and here at home.
and i just would think it should be a bit higher.
I've heard the V-10's are a pretty thirsty motor. I'm not sure what you could do for mileage. I wish my 06 had the 6 speed. But, the wife can't drive a stick, and I just wouldn't be able to trust anyone on a boat ramp with it! You'll have to post up some pics of your truck.
Yeah i hear ya on the boat ramp! told my buddy this summer I'd have to test & pass him on the boat ramp! Had to save his butt one summer at his grand parents cabin! his grandpa has a samurai to pull out a pontoon!! and the ramp is very step and no parking break on the samurai! well to say i saved it as the front wheels started hitting the water!
but to his credit it was OLD and UN maintained! clutch was bout shot.
Oh i dont know maybe 15mpgs on the highway w/little town driving. i could handle 20 dollars for gas to casino but thiry hehe well who am i kidding if it was 40 i'd still do it
Hey Psycho!! Welcome to the chapter and I hope you enjoy the lovely weather!!!lol
