And I will also try using my Mapp gas torch to check for a leak. Thanks again guys for all your help. I can't wait to get out in the garage after the new year and take a look. Any suggestions for finding a stock benchseat?
Well if you look in my garage, there's an extra one sitting there - but you can't have it (what a brat huh?) I'm going to recover it and use it.

Those are tough because no one wants to ship them. You can check e-bay or Craigs list. Or follow a few of the restorations here to see if someone is replacing the seat for buckets. Also, if you think you are going to need lots of parts, you migth want to start looking for a cheap donor hulk in your area to buy and take stuff off of.

Whole trucks definately sell for less than the value of the parts on them!

Thanks julie, my area is tough to find donor vehicles. Unless you want a 93 caravan. Luckily I don't need a donor. the truck is in good shape. Just needs a lil love. Someone took out the bench and put in a single bucket seat from a CRX, I bought a leather slide bench seat from a 2000 something buick century. It fits, but it's a little tight. I would rather go back to the stock, or as close to stock as I can get, bench seat. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks Jack, the fuel filter is new, I believe that was the first thing I replaced. I'm going to look into vac leaks, and the timing. Just have to wait for the free time, and the weather to warm up a bit. It's more of a time issue. Thanks again everyone for your posts.
