7.3 Powerstroke starting problems

Lately, on two occasions my truck will not start in the morning. I wait for the "wait to start" light to go out and turn the engine over. It will catch but only for a second and will not keep running. It will keep doing that and will not start. One time I waited for 10 minutes and came back and it started. A second time I waited but no luck. However when I recycled the key from off to on (waiting for the light to go out) a few times and then went to start it fired up and kept running. I'm in Arizona so extreme cold is not an issue. Does anyone have any experience like this?

check your glow plugs, you may want to repost in the diesel forum, there's more diesel people there, scroll down the page from the 87-96 forum, and you will find it
