I don't know what the issue was, but I fought it for a year before I finally sent the injectors to Casserly. He replaced a plunger and barrel in one injector, but I wouldn't think that one bad injector would make the truck run as bad as it did. It was worse than stock injectors and a TS chip. I tried other things like the 38R to try and improve it before I sent the injectors out. But the truck runs better now than I thought it ever could, even with 245K miles on it.

My comment is that you were looking at a couple of turbos, building the motor up well, so I suggest looking at at least stage 2's and a BB turbo, which will still work with a "stock" block.

Yea, give or take you're in that ball park.
If you found a deal on a van turbo, go for it. There are some guys that run them with bigger injectors and get along fine.
I really like the setup I have, it runs hard to toy around with others on the road and can pull our trailers with ease.

Stage ones and stage twos are a waste of your time. Just go with some 200cc hybrids with a small nozzle, and a 38r and you'll like the setup
