More power out of a 5.4 Triton

Well I'll be damned ... I knew it! I was driving it home and thinking to myself .. well it feels like the same pull I had before lift/tires. It had been slugging since, and I've done all the other mods - k&n, superchips programmer, true dual exhaust. I was ill informed basically and didn't do enough research on my own. The guys down at 4wheel didn't offer any advise or knowledge really. I guess it's too late, might have to bring it back in and just say I'm not satisfied.
Thanks for you help!

Hey guys, I can't figure out how to start a new thread, so I figured I would just post it here and maybe y'all can help me out a little. Anyways, today I spent 6+ hours replacing the exhaust manifold gaskets and studs on my 2004 f250 5.4 because of an exhaust leak that I had. It fixed the noise, but I can still here a slight "tick" or "hissing" noise when I have my windows down while driving next to a concrete barrier. I have to take a long road trip towing about 6,000 pounds this Saturday and I dont want any leaks or other problems with the engine. By the way, the noise is coming from the passenger side, but I can't narrow it down. The noise cannot be heard during idle. Could a plug be coming lose or is this an internal problem? Any held would be greatly appreciated!!!

It is easy to do. go to the beginning of this forum and you will see all the threads, at the top left corner click on that and a box will open up with new thread at the top.
in thread title put down what you want to title your thread. Then in the big blank box put down what year your truck is, what type of truck (for example F150 F250 etc) Then put down what engine you have ( for example 5.4 v8, 6.8 v10, 6.7)
Then go ahead and write what work you did to the truck and what your concern is with the engine and what symptoms you bleiev you are having and what advice you are seeking or what questions you have about the repair or symptoms your truck maybe having and hopefully the folks here can give you some advice on the problem or answer some questions for you.
Hope that helps
