Just curious what the advantages and disadvantages of a Shackle flip are? Anyone doing this on Superduties? Seems like a pretty reasonable way to get some lift in the rear.

How does it affect pinion angle?
Are the shackles available in different sizes?
Do they affect load capacity at all?

They look good. I looked at doing a flip on my truck but it wasnt really possible to flip it with the stock bracket, so this would be a good option.

 

My biggest question is...how would it affect load capacity or towing?

 

Yeah that crossed my mind too. I think if the truck was used to its max capacity it might not be that great, but I think for what I do it would be fine. Most I ever pull is 5K. Would be a great way for me to ditch my rear block.
