First off,you have to let us know what you have.Year,EFI? F150? I don't know on the pump pulley, never took one off, maybe some type of puller?Someone on here will know.On the EGR pipe,I've had mine off.Soak the crap out of it with PB Blaster, let it soak and every little while, jar the nut with a few light raps with a hammer, don't beat it up,you just want to disturb the rust a little, you may have to heat it up a little. My top fitting came loose pretty good, the one to the exhaust was terrible,I ended up putting a big end wrench on it and running a block on my floor jack and jacked a lot of pressure on it,then let it set all night, the next day I put more pressure on it (pissed off) and it came loose.I have a '96 F150 with EFI,and had to pull the intake for a leak at the head and the EGR pipe ran through the intake runners,so it had to come off.I have heard of guys cutting them and connecting them some how with pipe, maybe someone on here has an idea on that.By the way, welcome to a great forum!

I just changed the intake gasket,I left the exhaust right where it was,as it was not leaking. They sell a single intake gasket for these.Sorry to hear about your finger, damn that hurts!I would search this forum for manifold gaskets, should be some good info,as I have read many similar problems on here. The EFI's have bolt set ups to hold the exhaust manifolds in place while you put on your intake,so they are easier to install than the whole thing together like the older carb versions.Be sure to get that heat shield in between,it's important,it keeps the heat off your fuel rail and stops vapor lock.Who ever designed that EGR tube to go through everything should have been kicked in the nuts.Good luck with that finger!
