Flooding

Twice now my 93 150 5.7L has flooded. I have a remote starter (happened before the remote was installed also)and when i was walking out to my truck after work i heard the engine trying to start. As i got closer i could smell raw gas, i know i'm getting fuel. I hear the fuel pump turn on for a moment and shut off after turning the key to the RUN position so it sounds like that circuit is working. After twenty minutes of cranking it finally started and all was good. During those 20min occassionaly the engine would stumble and sounded as if there was at least spark. I live up north and yesterday was very humid and in the low-mid 30's. It's been my experiance with several types of motors, FI and carburated that sometimes weather/air plays a part in how engines run. I know I'm foolish in thinking that weather was the cause but its a decent running truck otherwise and don't have any other explanation. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Happy Holidays

Your fuel pressure regulator may be going bad. Its located on the drivers side, rear of engine where the fuel lines from the tank meet the fuel rail. They aren't too expensive and are pretty easy to change. Your engine is a 5.8 by the way, not a 5.7.

If you have experienced any previous starting problems when humidity is up or it's raining it's time to replace the high voltage ignition parts.. coil and plug wires. Also pull the codes to see if anything is flagged.
