By the way how do you like the new 3v?

Mike, I like the new 3 valver. he tranny took the most getting use to. The 3 valver really screams when you get above 3k rpm when you have the tranny in normal mode. The tow haul mode is a different story. I find myself driving in tow haul all the time. Basically, it is like have a tuner in the truck. It hold gears longer, shifts in the powerband, shifts firmer, and shifts more snappy.
I must still admit my 03' V10 with your tunes in it will edge out my new 09'. As I get miles on the 09' it might break in more releasing some more power.
The new trucks are night and day better than the first generation super duties. Hard to believe they are both Fords. If you ever get a chance to drive one no matter the powertrain.....do it.

I'm kinda surprised they still have 4.30s available for the gasser. Not shure why they even offer the 3.73s for the 6.2l, would have made more sense IMO to have 4.10s and 4.30s but at least 4.30s are an option, which is good. Hopefully the locking differential is a stand alone option unlike the F-150s.

"Work is hardly ever in a perfect location. What starts as a level patch of dirt usually turns into a rutted mud pit. But that’s where an available electronic locking differential goes to work. When engaged, it helps provide excellent off-road traction in both 4x2 and 4x4 modes by locking the rear axle completely to maximize traction on both wheels simultaneously and make an extreme off-road feel anything but extreme."
That is off the Ford 2011 Super Duty page. Very nice feature.

By "Stand Alone" I was refering to it just being a $250 upcharge on any package. With the 150s the locking diff is only available in certain packages. For instance you would have to buy the FX4 trimmed F-150 which is has all painted bumpers, grill and etc and carries a hefty upcharge over an XL or XLT truck. I like chrome so all painted surfaces like the FX4 150s isn't my thing.
