Tuner ? for Super Duty and 6spd

Hello everyone. My current truck is an 08 f-250 SD, 5.4, 6spd and I am looking into tuning computers (?)-I was wondering if there is really that much gain to be had while using a manual transmission. On most of the sites they mainly talk about controling the transmission "more efficiently". My truck is 100% bone stock and gets pretty good milage as is, just looking for a little bit more power and milage, or is it all hype from the manufacturers? TIA.

Your truck has the drive by wire which is a torque on demand system. So even though your truck is a manual you still gain the benefits of engine tuning.

Yep, you will still gain usable power and economy from the engine being tuned more efficiently.
