I doubt it...Ford Racing Performance Parts doesn't make one, and anyone else would probably have to get the licensing to be able to emboss those names in their covers. Since Shelby didn't really do anything with the 460, Ford probably didn't see a market for them.

FRPP does make a Ford Racing cover for the 460, but nothing that says Cobra or Shelby...at least it's not in their 2010 catalog.

You were right though some are not made due to licensing issues, and the ones that say motorsport i think are not being made anymore.

The original 221/260/289 & 352/390/406/427 valve covers were marked: COBRA Powered by Ford

After Ford won at Le Mans (beating the hated Ferrari's), the FE valve covers were marked: COBRA LE MANS

I want to get the cobra oval air filter also for my rig, i have a single 4bbl holley 4160

Will this air filter be ok?

What size height should i go with?

I was thinking the 2" high model. i really love how these valve covers and air cleaner look on the engine.

You do ?????
please post a picture....
I have the 3rd big block GT 500 and it is a 428....Have had it 43 yrs.
1st car started out as a 390 as they wanted a car for Road and Track and Hot Rod to do articles on. 2nd car it is said came from Shelby with a side oiler...I cannot confirm that.

Never ever saw them on 460's till aftermarket came around.
Has to be something from the after market.

Just So Everyone Can See They Exist

These are on a Dean Jeffries customized Shelby Cobra, which had the 429 side oiler removed (still have it in the crate with 14 dyno hours only). Dean then bored and stroked a 460 to 514 cu in and shoveled it in. He built this car for Warner Brothers.

Boy this is one tortured thread. Ain't no such thing. ^^^

You can have a 385 Series engine or you can have a FE based engine that is a side oiler.

Hey Ard, you're repeating ourselves....
