Have you guys seen the Pontiac dash install on the F-1 in the Jan issue of CCT that is really slick. If my inside wasn't completed I would think about doing that. There is also a red/white 56 with chrome bars and headlight buckets, do anyone know what the buckets come off of?

 

I don't get the magazine. What year Pontiac dash are they using? I just checked out the CCT website and couldn't find it.

I am planning on installing a Pontiac cluster in my 49. I have the gauges cluster from a 57 or 58 Pontiac. Right now my fab skills aren't up to the task, but, someday.....

Bobby it's from a 52 Pontiac car they cut the entire dash and then sectioned about 3-4" inches out of the passenger side deleting the ashtray, which was added back in to fill a gap on the driver's side. I would scan the picture however, there might be some copyright infringements violated.

No problem, don't worry about scanning it in. I'll stop by a newstand today and pick up a copy. It might be time to set a subscription again, I do that every couple of years or so and then get fed up with the magazines and cancel.
