im having trouble locating the heater resistor in 2006 f250 tbd. Does anyone know exactly where its located? I cant find it took out fan speed switch by mistake. Any help appreciated

 

On 2006, I believe it is on the blower case in the engine compartment, roughly between the blower motor and accumulator.

The only part i could find was fan control. If it is between accumulator and blower i cant see it. There is a box in behind the battery passenger side about 6x12 is it in there? Im lost so far tried to follow wires in the dark they go everywhere.

 

See the diagram below. If you have the standard heater and a/c controls, you have the blower motor resistor. If you have the fancy electronic/automatic heater and a/c controls, you have the blower motor speed controller.
