Negative... I have one of those fun jobs where I'm only home on the weekends, and at that not all the time... Spent the week 3 hours from home fabbing up a set of doors for a cabinet on a fuel tank... Had been a while since I welded aluminum period, let alone broke out the tig.
I do have a company truck as a perk, but, it's a Chebby...

Well, took it out and flogged it on Saturday... Lessons learned, front driveshaft is short, and needs considerably more slip, I've got a pile of wheel travel in the front end, I actually had tire to fender contact... Going to build a square tube shaft for it.
Having the MSD set to 6 cyl means the rev limiter doesn't work right and you don't really know what rpm you really are turning... Hurt a rod bearing in the first hole...
Gearing isn't as horrible as I thought it was going to be and that 460 will easily spin the 44's in second low, doesn't sound like much, but, I have a close ratio T19 in there, second is 2.4, where a T18 is 3.09 and a NP435 is 3.36. It might even pull third, but, second gives me nearly 30mph tire speed at 5500, and that's way too fast for the entrance and exit of most of the holes on the trail we were running, that's where an auto would be a nice thing. Would be great for racing geared as it is though. But it is far from a race truck...
Rear needs an anti wrap bar, but, I already knew that... LOL
Going to ship out one of my spare cranks to be turned tomorrow, going for minimum downtime here and am just going to continue building.
And yes, the tires did contact the core support mounts at some point, they got a little shiny... LOL
I'll see what I can dig up for pictures when I get home... No facebook at work, and I was busy driving and wrenching, never thought to take any pictures.

This is all I've got so far:
Not sure what the blue smoke is about... Thats the hole I hurt the engine in, may have been valve float, could have still been some old oil on the exhaust from the old engine, not really sure. Didn't see it make any smoke any other time during the day, and it was definitley at 5000+ rpm in that picture, having the MSD set for the wrong cylinder count means the tach was likley wrong too, but the memory showed a 5400 rpm peak.

Hey, look, Video of the above, finally, right about the time I get to working on it again too..:
Yanked one of the low current wires off of the distributor at first there... Oops... LOL
The blue smoke is valve seals, just discovered that in the 2 months it took me to put the engine together I forgot to change them...
Should really have grabbed second gear for that hole, but, like I already said, first trip... Found out on the way back out that it will pull second no problem... LOL
I really love how that little magnaflow sounds on there... LOL
And, yes, the Dodge is also on 44's, with a 500" al head 440 Stroker under the hood...

Finally some progress, spent the weekend working on it, and took Monday off, crank is swapped(should have taken pics of the old bearings, literally chunks of bearing missing, all the rods were done) new driveshaft is built, bed is bolted down, shocks are on...
And best of all, the new girlfriend is just as into the truck as I am and spent the weekend in the garage with me.
Camping/wheeling trip coming up this weekend coming, truck is going to get flogged on hard.

Well, took it out for the long weekend... I need to remember to give someone else my camera so I get pictures... LOL
New crank = happy engine, 80 psi cold idle, 75 hot. Even after 10 minutes of straight rev limiter attempting to conquer a hole that had 6" of water in the cab... First person to make it out of it in 3 years, even though I backed out... Clutch was starting to fail me so I gave up while I still had motive power, yet again I ended up with mud packed behind the fingers of the pressure plate, preventing the clutch from engaging.. Made it out of the hole, and about another 1000 feet, went to grab second, and that was the end of the clutch doing anything...
Nice easy 1.5 hour trailside fix to yank it and clean it... LOL
I need more offset in my wheels, and I need to soften up the rear suspension, but otherwise, besides the clutch all worked well.
So, I'm debating trying something different for the clutch, or building a wide ratio C6... An auto is better in the mud, but it's nowhere as smooth putting along just off idle as a stick is...
