Yep -- the guy that has it around here has a really tight grip on his... I asked.

I'm sure they rust in the same areas as the Broncos -- tail gate & fenders.

I seem to remember it being where the fiberglass shell met the body, which is weird because the normal Broncos didn't have that issue.

That is weird. I know the tail gate sux on the Broncos -- my buddy's was all kinds of eat-up, but then again, it was exposed to salt water all the time from launching his boat. My BroncoII had a fiberglass tail gate. GENIUS! LOL

That would be easy to do for you ray, Get a regular cab truck, shorten it down and get a camper top since you said you wanted a remove able top . That Ex does look pretty sweet.

You could buy an International Scout and do a conversion .

Good idea but it wouldn't be the same! After some discussion this evening with a "Mechanicin' son of a gun" i am pretty sure i am gonna go ahead and started locating everything needed and get a price idea for the swap!

Cool deal, what are you going to put in an OBS motor, SD motor or what ever comes about. Bring it down here me and cory will fiddle with it all winter . I was talking to someone up that way in Johnson City on PSN that is doing a 12V swap into a SD

7.3 in a bronco would be sweet.....

just throwing this out C6 or 4R? I have never measured my motor/tranny transfer from front to back but I know it is damn long and wonder if it would fit under a bronco...you'r rear drive shaft might only be 6 inches long if that with the 4R

solid front axle conversion? I think the would be the easiest with a coil spring SD doner truck....

it would be well worth all the work though
