Can someone help me on the install of these hella driving lights.
The directions they include in the box leave a lot to be desired. It doesn't help that this is really my first electrical install.
I have a 99 superduty. I hooked up all of the wiring harness in the engine bay of the truck. I wanted to make sure it worked before running the switch to the interior. I can't get any power to it. I got so frustrated that I pulled the entire harness and just left it on the counter in the garage.


Has anyone done an auxiliary light install that can help me out.

So each light needs to be grounded correct? The blue wire from each light.

Red wire on the harness plugs into the positive on the battery terminal
Green wire tap into on of the headlight wires. I chose to chanel lock the green wire on the headlight harnes
Yellow goes from the relay to the switch

The switch grounded. The blue wire
The relay grounded. The blue wire

Black wires from the lights connected to the black wire of the relay harness and goes to the relay.


What am I missing. Where should I be fastening the grounds for the lights, relay, and switch?

Green wire tap into on of the headlight wires. I chose to chanel lock the green wire on the headlight harnes This should tap into the lowbeam if they are fog lamps. If they are driving I guess you could tap into the highbeam wire. Whatever wire you tap into, they will only work when that circuit is on

Black wires from the lights connected to the black wire of the relay harness and goes to the relay. yes. On terminal 87


What am I missing. Where should I be fastening the grounds for the lights, relay, and switch? Fasten the grounds to any metal piece on the body. Make sure you scrap the paint away.
