I finally had a Lo-Jack put on mine. With all the truck thefts I thought it was worth it. I had a neighbor who was a DPS auto theft detective. He said because of lojack many thieves are taking the vehicles and going to an apartment complex and leaving the truck. They will watch it for a few days and if it hasn't been found by the police they know it doesn't have lojack and then take it somewhere to strip. With lojack these vehicles are recovered and the only damage done is whatever was done when they stole it.

I have been a Border Patrol Agent south of Phoenix for ten years now, and I am leaving in a few weeks for another agency and I will be moving to Washington. We cannot talk about stuff while employed, but since I am leaving...

There have been nights that I have recovered 3 stolen superdutys down on the indian reservation. Most nights were at least one. The trucks are stolen mainly from malls and large shopping centers and the majority have been mostly stock except with slightly bigger offroad tires. Also, crew cabs are about 90% of them, you can fit more people in a crew cab. I have never seen a dually or one with a lift kit, just not practical for driving cross country through the desert with 30 people in the truck. Alot of them had clubs in the cab, but they were not used at the time of theft because they were unlocked.

My personal truck is lifted so it is less of a target, but I akways use the club and I just bought a ravelco on ebay.
