Monaco Ford in Glastonbury. In the back of their lot they have an Orange Raptor right next to a 2010 F150 Platinum edition. I'm torn. That Platinum sure is sweet looking.

 

sorry...I like the looks of the fx4 without the chrome. The chrome nowadays is just ridiculous, not to mention it will PEEL off in a couple years.

 

All the plastic and the paint schemes really turn me off the the Raptor. I've seen a lot of them in person and I've never really thought they look good. To be honest, it kind of reminds me of an Avalance before they ditched a lot of the plastic.

But the specs speak for themselves and I'm sure it's a lot of fun off road, a place where probably most of them won't end up.

what plastic? the fender flares? and what paint schemes? are you talking the decals or the colour choices themselves?

 

The hood vents, fender vents, and fender flairs. I also don't like the matte black color scheme they went with. I don't like FORD across the grill. I think the decals look especially bad and in 10 years I think they'll look rediculous.

Basicly I think it looks like an XL truck with a Platinum price tag. Hate me if you want to but I think it looks a bit "ricey" and every time I see one I can't help but put it in the same category as Avalance.

I do like what's underneath the skin though.
