climate control display F/C 2006 f-350 diesel

After 2 dead frozen batteries yesterday, the obvious electrical system reset occurred. This resulted in my electronic climate control display reverting to reading in degrees F. I live in canada and want to read it in Degrees C. Does anyone know how to change it back. The manual says nothing and the internet has been no help either! The info and setup buttons on the dash only change the odometer reading to english form metric. Does not change the temp display. Thanks guys. Its a 2006 F-350 6.0 diesel btw. Great forum guys!! Cheers

Press the AUTO and (floor/defrost) controls at the same time and
hold for one second to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

It's on page 36 of your owners manual. It's the first sentence below the diagram of the Automatic Temp Controls.

cheers

I will try that, but its so bloody cold out i cant be bothered at the moment. The more i read in this forum, the more that exact solution has come up. Thanks so much. I read that damn manual 6 times. Page 36 and 37... Missed it i guess. I'll go look again to make sure that i'm losing my eyesight and mind. I was pretty sure before, but this should ice the cake. Thanks again!!

Ok, I have the same problem after servicing my batteries. Now I have read the manual and all that, but mine will not switch back to Celsius. Do any other paramaters have to be met prior - ie. controls set to "off" or something like that?
