Cabin air filter

Which 09 trucks have cabin air filters? My maintenance schedule suggests replacing if equipped. Do I have one? 09 F-150 Crew Cab 4x4

Thanks

There is a kit to retrofit the truck with one. Costs around $62
Part # F65Z-18 D477-AA or SKF75J-18 D477-AA

Really !! I can add a cabin filter ! Has anyone else done this ? I couldn't understand why Ford didn't have a cabin filter considering that these trucks are going offroad. When I bought my 04 Lariat I thought for sure that Ford would have added it to the all new truck but no ! My 07, 09, 010 don't have them either and I thought for sure that the new 09 would have it. Kinda disappointed.

I think the reason they don't come with one is that most people would never change it causeing the system not to run right and collect mold

I inquired about the cabin air filter at a ford dealer for my 09 F150 and I was told they don't make them for the 09. Any truth to that?

I want to retrofit this to my 09 as well. I will continue to search the part numbers posted above. Not knowing the system layout, one advantage to this beyond the air quality, is that it prolongs the life of the blower motor. If anyone has ever pulled a blower out of any car with a few years age, it's amazing the blower motors last as long as they do with all the crud that collects around them.

Strange Ryan...Is that part a retrofit "kit". Or is it an off the shelf part found on trucks w/filters that will fit on trucks w/out filters?
