Well, I finally bit the bullet and ordered my 08 towing mirrors today!!!!! My truck came with the goofy little paddle mirrors on it (FYI in the 08 model year if you ordered a manual transmission, the towing mirrors were not included with the towing package.......) Ordered from partsguyed.com, good people to deal with. BTW he has the mirrors for $659.50/pr, the ones with power&heated glass, manual fold/extend and marker light. Good deal I thought...... Cant wait to get home and put them on!!!!!

 

My 08 came with a manual tranny and tow package and it had the big mirrors.

 

you'll love the mirrors, would never buy one without the tow package.

 

Ahhh I love mine, granted my truck is not an 08+ but I too had the ghey mirrors originally. I however was lucky enough to grab my pair before the price went through the roof on them. Got them brand new in the ford boxes on ebay from a dealer for $420 shipped.

Man those mirrors are expensive! I looked at some cheap aftermarket mirrors ($200.00 shipped), but I really want the OEM Ford ones.

 

I LOVE the mirrors on my 08 (power extend).. specially when towing my closed trailer.

wish they had ONE more feature, auto dim.. they are so big, you get a good eyeful!..
