49 F1 Ignition 3 post ignition switch
Is there an aftermarket and/or equivelant ignition switch available that will fit and work in the 48-50 bonus built trucks? In the meantime I have obtained a "universal" 4 post switch (Terminals On Back Are Bat, Ign, Acc And Center Post Is Starter). My new wiring harness has 3 wires (temperature gauge, battery, coil) to connect to an "original" switch. If I keep the "universal", the battery wire is obvious, but which posts would take the temp gauge and which the coil?

Ignition switch - part 2
After my posting, I did what I should have done and looked at other threads more closely. "Julies Cool F1" posted a drawing in one of those and it appears to answer the question. The drawing shows the "coil" lead going to the ignition post, the "gauges" lead going to the accesories post, and of course the "battery" lead going to the battery post. The center (4th post) labled "starter" is left empty.

Yep I remember that with the pictures. Here, I think, is the thread you were talking about. I'll repost the link because I think the alternate wiring set up drawing I did is in there too for the start switches. Actually here's a couple links:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...er-button.html
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...12-volt-3.html
But neither has my ignition switch drawing, so here it is as well.
The one above is for a 6 volt positive ground with a ground type (non continuety) starter button with a 56 + or after market starter switch and stock 3 post start solenoid.
Pictures below are for 12 volt negative ground with stock starter switches, continuety type start buttons and 4 post 12 volt start solenoids.
