new to me truck

hey guys, well my ranger took a **** on me so i jumped on craigslist today and found a 95 f 150. the body is flowless brane tires truck runs amazing. needs a cluch. i got it 4 600 bucks. truck is amazing. and its a crew cab. so is there ne thing i need to no about this truck ne little trick pr tips i should know?

slave cylinders can be a problem id rather have the old cable clutch

we could be more help if you told us more about the truck...im assuming its a 4x4 with the 5 speed tranny and being an f150 its the mazda 5 speed

in that case for heavy/regular hauling or heavy offroading that tranny sucks but for a DD/light offroader/occasional hauler it is pretty good, the slave cyl can be a pain and is a big job to replace, the shift forks seem to be a weak spot on this tranny as well...but if you are in there doing the clutch i suggest doing the slave cyl. while you are in there...do it right...once

f150 4x4s have the Twin Traction Beam (TTB...fords early version of IFS) again...its great for a DD/light offroader but if you plan on going 35" tires or up and getting heavy into the offroad that axle is a weak link...solid axle swaps are the best way to fix that

X2...a 95 f150 crew cab??? pictures are always nice...then you can go share them over in the "show off your pre-97" thread too...everyone likes to see pictures
