What's up with all of these Clutch/Pedal/M5OD threads lately?
Could this be attributable to the cold weather?
I'm having similar problems and they started after the first cold weather push here. Looking at pushrod and master cylinder now. '89,300,M5OD
I had no problems at all this summer/fall.
My clutch has been consistent lately but I have to push it to the floor to engage.
Hate that!
Thanks

The useage and mileage wear alot on the o-ring seals. The cold weather just shows the problem much more readily from contraction difference of cylinder bore, piston and the rubber o-rings. The seals just cant expand anymore due to wear to make up the difference from differing materials that are contracting.
P.S. After messing around with aftermarket master and slave clutch parts on a Nissan Maxima that I owned once, I recommend the OEM parts as I has much less trouble with them than the aftermarket pieces, and they were brand name pieces as well.
