2008 F250 and the right tire and size.

I'm loosing my mind trying to choose the right tire for my 08 F250. At first I was going for the Nitto Trail Grapler MT.... but I'm having second thoughts. I'm now also looking at the Dunlop Fierce Attitude, as well as General AT2. I want a mean, tready tire. I want something that looks VERY aggressive. Preferably, without it being too loud when on pavement.

What is the best, meanest looking tire that would really make my truck pop?

Also, I don't have a lift, I'm all factory. Should I stick with 275/75R18, or can I go with a bigger tire. I don't want any rub.

Thanks in advance!

My truck is stock. I have 295 70 18 no rubs anywhere. My wheels are -12 offset wheels.

First thing first, those are two things that do not go together. Aggressive = Loud.

Are you actually using the truck off road where an MT tire is needed? If not, I would strongly recommend sticking with an AT. MT tires are typically made of softer compound and will wear out much faster.

That said, If you are after something that looks cool, I would check out the Generals with the red letters.

If you want to go a little larger than stock, 295/70/18 is a good size. That's the size I am planning to go with when my current tires bite the dust.

Those Generals are pretty sweet. Like he said the meatier tires are soft and somewhat loud. Mine dont bother me or my family much.

Not necessarily true. Toyo MT's are very quiet for a mud tire and can last 50,000 miles or more.

Firestone Destinstion M/T

Sizes up to a 35". Very aggressive tread with side lugs and works pretty good offroad.

BFG KM2 is also pretty nifty

I run Cooper Discovery STT's in the same size as the op. Great tire, good in snow/ice and great in the mud.

An excellent towing tire as well. Does not hold the heat.

I seem to get around 50K on them before they need replacing.

cooper is a usa made tire as well. I also have the CS4 I think it is on my car.

check out my album. Nitto terra graps... 325 65 18's approx 35" tall. there is a few pic's of the only snow fall of the season and the only time i had a chance to test my tires in the snow. I purposely left it in two wheel drive with the tire pressure up at road pressure. I drove up the snow covered dirt road aggressively to find the traction limits, not once did i ever feel out of control. I was able to break traction and swing the back end at will but it kept going forward. there is also tight pic's of the tire. I would recomend these tires.

Disclaimer: these are not E rated tires, but you did not put that in your list of wants so thats why i chimed in... If you want to remain able to load your truck to capasity, du not get these tires. My truck is not ever "worked" that is why i am confident with running these tires. Good luck
