any 57-60 with jag ifs???

i know it's a common clip in the earlier trucks but haven't been able to find any fridges with the jag clip in my search. is the jag not a good swap for the fridge? i know i've seen several done with camaro clips. if my info is correct the jag is almost perfect trackwidth wise i think a 1/2" narrower even which i'd really like something 1-3" narrower.

is there a better alternative? i'm knee deep in looking for the base for this project now. theres several possible in the area and i should have one home in the next coupla weeks...ken....

I believe that your frame is similar in the front to the 53-56 trucks, i.e. 34" wide outside of rail to outside of rail. Others have done it on the 53-56 (they are 34" wide). The 48-52 frame is pinched down in the front to 32". With the wider rails, you will need to either cut into the frame or cut into the Jag crossmember. It is a little bit more work than for 48-52. Others have done it. Holmseys website has good pix and info on how he did it.

Sounds really cool, but the Fridge is an easy 3600 lb beast with most of the weight over the front axle. Industrial chassis in Phoenix makes a very well-engineered Dodge Dakota swap crossmember. Truck suspension for a truck is the logic, anyway.
