blue glue.... uhm dunno where your from so its called rtv sylicon i think... pepmatex puts it out and lol its blue .... gaskets are crappy and dont seal worth a f*** put a bead of blue glue around the housing *make sure it is clean first* but go completely around it and even circle the bolt holes and put some on the cover *do that first maybe let it sit for a min or 2* then bolt it on and tighten it down

I use this:

Return equipment to service immediately when you make leakproof gaskets in just one minute with the Right Stuff. This latest elastomeric rubber gasket technology is blowout resistant and outperforms pre-cut gaskets. Specified on production lines by GM, Ford, Daimler-Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz. Temperature range -75F to 450F; (-60C to 232C) continuous, 500F (260C) intermittent; resists ATF, coolant, oil and other shop fluids. Protects against leaks caused by vibration and thermal expansion. Sensor-safe.

Suggested Applications:
Automotive and marine gaskets, valve covers, gearbox covers, pumps, compressors, oil pans, thermostat housings, water pumps

I use high temp sensor friendly RTV made by Permatex. Its in the copper tube. I have never used a gasket.
