Dome Light Wiring

Has anyone used the Mid Fifty dome light wiring kit? If so how does it work? I am trying to wire it on my 55 and I can't make sence of it. It's on all the time if you wire it like the instructions.
Thanks

I'm not familiar with your kit, and I don't know how you have done your setup, but if it is a typical, OEM style installation, something commonly overlooked is the light assembly needs to be insulated from ground. The door switches and headlight switch will be the grounding source, allowing multiple "turn-on" locations. If the lamp itself is grounded, it will be on all the time.

Tee hee, they have a couple Chinese guys in the back room writing out there direction sheets so when you read them they will be consistant with all the other parts' instructions that are written over there for parts produced in China!
