Went to M'boro yesterday and I24 was closed because of wrecks that were caused by the ice on bridges. When I got to Northern Tools they had snow in the parking lot, getting ready to lock the hubs in
We got a couple of inches. Not really slick yesterday but It got in the teens last night so I am sure there were plenty of wrecks. Slush, snow melted ice and low temps add up to bad Saturday night.
I spent my night in the garage putting SD F-350 rear springs on my truck. Big fun all by myself. LOL
Me and my wife went riding around in the mountains and saw 4-6". I did lock the hubs, but never needed to use it. BTW Tim. I was in Mt. Juliet last week and will be there again this week. I was going to pm you, but we worked 14 hours a day...
Neal, all you had to do is call. You wouldn't have had to do those springs alone.

huck, I was wondering what was going on. I was around back a couple of times at 5 Guys and saw AC and Plumbers trucks but thought you guys had been and gone. What truck you in?
We had about 3/4 to 1 inch, but it was all melted before noon..

Huck, It was a last minute call. I decided I would pull it in and check it out. See how much was involved, just scope it out. You know. The next thing you know my leaf springs are laying on the floor and I am dedicated now.
Not a hard job just heavy and time consuming. I like good quality time with my favorite person (me) like that. LOL
We got about 1.5 inches here. It snow most all day but didn't accumulate to much.
Chase has had a virus so he can't come out to play.
It was all me and the beverages this time. We seem to play well together. LOL
I got it done last night no prob... atleast not yet. Got the old one out in 40 minutes and that includes cleaning all the old gasket stuff off the front plate. Went in, ate dinner and played with Chase for a minute. Then back out and had it installed in no time at all.
After I had it together and let the gasket harden I cranked it up. Looked for leaks , none. Went inside for another beverage, spoke to the wife and back out. No puddles under the truck so all is well. Let's take one more look under the hood before I shut it. Oops the valley is full of oil.
YOU BIG DUMMY, NEAL!!!!!
I forgot to tighten the HPOP reservoir plug. Cleaned it up and went to bed. I parked on a hill at work so it can drain here and not at home. LOL
