Think these will fit?

I've been looking at some new wheels for a while now, but I was told by the guys at Town Fair Tire that the Ultra Wheel Magnus rims that I wanted would not fit. They said that the offset was not enough and that it would sit too far inboard and rub on the spring leaves at full steering lock. That was two years ago.

Ultra Wheel

Now I see that Ultra has come out with a Low Offset version of the Magnus, with the specs listed below. Stock wheels are 16X7 with 4 1/4" backspacing and -6mm offset, which is pretty close to the same backspacing of the Low Offset Magnus.

LOW OFFSET
232-8983B* 18x9 4 3/4 -6 6-5.5 89-9865B 108mm* 2200 42
232-8981B 18x9 4 1/2 -12 8-6.5 89-9879B 5.125" 3050 42
232-8982B 18x9 5 0 8-6.5 89-9879B 5.125" 3050 42

232-8987B 18x9 4 1/2 -12 8-170 89-9880B 5.125" 3500 42

I would probably put a 295/70R18 tire on these wheels, which is about a 34.4" tall tire. I have added a front leaf to my truck to bring the front springs up to the 6000# rating of the snow plow prep package, and this raises the front up just about like a leveling kit would to give added clearance.

I currently have 285/76R16 Terra Grapplers on the truck and it looks like I would have enough room to go with this setup. Has anyone out there put something similar to this on a leaf sprung('03-04) Super Duty without lifting it? I'd like to go with the bigger tires and wheels but don't want to mess around with a lift kit...

4.5" of back spacing is what you need on your Super Duty. You should be fine with those wheels (Part# 232-8987B).
