Alright a little while back Reamer and one other fella in California were talking of making lower fender patches for the F-1. Has anyone heard if this is being done? Its time to get started on my fender repairs.

 

I think reamer came back on and said he had posted his patches in the classifieds here on FTE. You may want to check or send him an e-mail!

I have a set of reproduction F-1 lowers that were discontinued a few years back. They look pretty easy to make. The outer skin was made using two pieces, not like the originals which were stamped out of one piece of metal. You'd also have to make the reinforcement pieces in the back but that wouldn't be too hard either.











Northern Classic Trucks, www.northernclassictrucks.com, sells reproduction bottoms for $550 a pair, a little deep for my wallet, I'd rather build my own from scratch.



They look like the same design as the ones I have. When Sacramento Ford sold them they were going for around $300 for a set.
