I've had my fill of that Dave. Time for me to do some things for ME
I'm trying to wean my customers off so I can work on my "stuff"................
I know what you mean, Don..........Getting tired of giving my best for companies that drop you like a hot rock at the first sign of hard times. If I could "go it alone" I would do it in a heart beat. My view of working in America has been pretty well wiped out.
I gave up the corp bs in 1980. I was working as an engineer for Boeing and they laid off 30,000 of us. Ever since then I've either managed farms , owned several businesses (being an employer is sure fun.....)and pretty much worked for myself. I'm much happier when I work for myself.
I still put my best face forward at work, but I am thru "going the extra mile" for places that have no consideration for employees and their families.......I once was a company guy, now I just do the expected..........no more.
