17" Rims and snow tires - will they fit?

I found a deal on a set of 17" ford rims and snow tires. Will these fit on the expedition or are there any brake issues etc that I need to be aware of? I found two sets one is 17" ford chrome clads with firestone snow tires and the other is 18" bridgestone duellers that are take offs from a lariat 150. Not sure which one to go with.. Just need something to get me through the winter, truck is off lease in May.

any 17-23" rim from the following vehicles will fit your Expy with no issues

just make sure the rim is a factory rim. the aftermarket rims will work as well, but the offset and backspacing have to be test fit first.

if you can snag the rims from any of these vehicles, do it. they will fit 100%. just make sure the rubber is 33" tall at most.

2003-2010 Navigator
2003-2010 Expy
2004-2010 F-150 (6 lug style)

be kinda careful with Navi rims. their hubs are about 1/4" narrower than the normal Ford rims. this can cause the rear rims to get stuck on the rear hubs

I know I'm not suppose to do this but I have a set of 18" Expy wheels and tires with TPMS installed off my 07 Expy, less then 10K miles on the Michelin's.

I have them on eBay, if interested and if I don't get deleted reply back and I'll post the link.
Or seach under 18" ford expedition wheels they will be listed at $650 with a BIN price of $750 form Lexington, Ky that way you'll know its the right set.

Tylus - Thanks for the info.

Welfare Wagon - Thanks for the offer, but I am in Canada so the shipping and customs fees would kill the deal.

no problem

if you are looking for some bling, the 22" Harley Rims and the 23" Saleen and 20" Roush rims fit perfectly as well

they're a bit more rare, but you'd be surprised at what you find once you start browsing Craigslist and eBay. I missed a set of 22" HD rims that sold for $600...darn it
