GPS cord issue

Anyone using a unit similar to the Garmin 1490T? I had to return my 750 which uses a much thinner cord and was upgraded to the 1490 which uses a larger cord. On the 750 I was able to tuck the cord in the dash and still snap the dash back on, this new one I would have to notch the dash out. This cord is too large to let hang down, drives me nuts. Just curious to solutions.

the garmin T has traffic and the cord has the antenna built into it so it's fat

I got mine hidden pretty well but I mounted My gps lower under the dash area to keep it from prying eyes

I run ny power cord along the top of the dash to the lower driver side of the wind shield. But, I have a dash cover and the power cord is held in place by the velcro that holds the dash cover in place.

I use the bean bag mount for my 765T...
and hook the cord to the right of the dash beezle with a paperclip
now the patch cord back to my rear dvd inputs is viewable up to the rear view mirror and then hidden inside the overhead console back to the rear dvd...

Like the bean bag in that I can stow it in the center console well away from prying eyes !

and allows the co driver easy use....
