Greywolf you have done the best job at this contest ,better then anyone else could have.. and I did not write up my truck , that god gave me my hands to work and left out the brains to write ..Its hard to tell about something you build and love to drive if you can't put it in words...words are like pictures ....I can see the B/B ford truck has alot more love and pain in it ,If I was at a car or truck show I would drool all over his truck at workmanship... and detail... if it wasn't for off the show room store bought truck I would had vote for ME, but we want a fat fender truck to win at all cost...

I can understand that ~ it's the other reason why I never threw a hissy fit and tried to prevent people from PM'ing, E-MAILING, and otherwise drumming up support for their entries (IE: "Votemongering")
To do so would have eliminated an element of strategy, or attempted to, in a way that never would have worked anyhow...
I still think your COE trucks are marvels of mechanical creativety, and would not be one bit suprised if your li'l green coe attracts a ton of votes anyway!
It isn't very often you see a truck who's frame itself was extensively modified just to mount the cab... I think both of your COE's are totally mind blowing!!!
PS: DO they know about this over at JalopyJournal? I'd be kinda scared to pipe up over there myself, since I've hardly got jack squat done on my V8 Ranger project

Actually that's not true at all.
There were 10 rounds. Each round had an entry thread that was closed when 10 trucks were entered by their respective owners. What we see now are the resulting winners of each of the 10 rounds.
So as you can see it's a selection process driven by the members of this site, not the creators of the contest

They'll come around!

You would think there were a lot more people who come to FTE to fix an old truck than to work on a "Put it in a bag and I'll take it" one, wouldn't ya?
I've never had a new car or truck in my life. I prefer my wheels either completely "DE-LEMONATED" or busted so bad the problems are obvious...

Thought I'd jump in here and put up a link to the photo contest thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...nal-round.html
There's 10 beautiful trucks in there....a couple of 'em are fat fenders ()...tough job to choose only one.
The contest runs until the 31st of December. See if you can't get over and put in your vote.

WE ARE MANY!
The Cracker-jack box truck owners will BE us in 20 years - they just don't know it...
But they still don't have big fat round solid fine sweet fenders
(I will have one like that again one day. Kripes how I miss my Cord...)
*I sold it for five grand four years ago because things looked really awful at that point and I didn't want the car ruined if I fell on my face
