I live just north of Fort St. John, at mile 54 of the alaska hiway. heres a picture of my project i have on the go its nothing special yet but i hope to have it wheel-able in about five years or so. (my allowed shop time got cut way down since we had our baby 3 months ago). i'll try and figure out the gallery feature so i can put up all my in progress pics. but i'm far from computer savvy so it may take a while.its a 79 F250 with a 300/six borg warner 4 speed/NP205 4.10's. 21" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 53" Michelin XZL's. and so on. the wish list is plentifull, i am putting a turbo on it instead of the usual V-8 swap. 2.5 ton rockwells, double triangulated four link front and back, i could go on forever but i wont. heres the before shot.
heres the not street legal shot
and when i wanna drive it down the road it gets the 47" LTB's
with the aluminum rims it isnt too bad but when the 15 wide 10 bolt split rims were on there with the rim guard and tubes they were crazy heavy. i hauled em home em in my 1/2 ton dodge. it was an intense load. with the aluminum rims i can pull a pretty good hill, i live on the top of a 1 km 9% grade hill and it pulls it at about 80-90 kms. theres something to be said about those old iron long stroke 300/six's.
