Happened to me yesterday

 

When folks get in the 3rd row seat and can't believe all the space behind the 3rd row!

 

I got this the other day when someone sat in the second row seat and I explained to them there's more seat behind them AND lots of trunk space.

 

I put my 3rd row in this morning (in the old rig to make room for the one for the new rig in the basement) and after putting that thing in there is SO much damn room left!

 

.....when you get approached by a guy in a Suburban saying "wanna trade?!" even though his was only a year or two old! Happened to me last night!

 

When your at a red light, in your V10 with a sqeeze down right after the intersection. With a older lady in a 6.0 Ex next to you and shes inching forward, you jump the light and get in front of her due to the slight jump the V10 has off the line...gotta love it Excursion love either way you look at it. She did ride my add though haha

 

You know you drive a DIESEL Excursion when you pull up to the big rig pumps because it's so much faster to fill up and when you pull up the guy from inside the store comes out and asks if you are at the wrong pump. I told him I've been using the same fuel for over 300k miles and it hasn't killed the engine yet. It's amazing how many don't realize these trucks were made with a diesel.

 

I have the opposite problem. When I was selling mine on CL people would email me asking gas or diesel. I would say gas since well, it's a gas. They would reply with "You have it listed as a V-8 but the V-8 is the diesel, the V-10 is the gasser. I have more people amazed that this thing came with a 5.4 than anything. I've even had a few people say "I had no idea they ever came 2wd!"

 

... when you see someone in a nice brand new truck and say to yourself "Damn, that's a nice truck" and then realize they're looking at yours thinking the same thing

 

When your co workers sit in the third row on a lunch run and ask "how do I use these tray tables?".

 

ROTFLMAO!!!

 

When you start getting disappointed because so many people have had their Ex's complimented by strangers and you haven't...and then you realize you are driving an Ex and it's all rainbows and unicorns again.

Just sayin Ex's get noticed and whether mine does or not...I GET TO DRIVE AN EX...how cool is that?
