Anybody have a picture of the clutch linkage where it connects to a 3 speed trans?

It's a push rod that connects to the fork holding the throw out bearing inside the bell housing. Unless you are talking about the pedal actuator bracket that is bolted to the transmission. Semantics.....
See if these help.
OBTW in the photo, the bracket that is bolted to the transmission - next to (7572) the large U shaped actuator, it's installed upside down. Open part should face down.

Dadyo,
We need to see pics of your 3 speed, If you recall the 4 speed has 2 cast protrusions where the linkage bolts to. The 3 speed has these as well UNLESS you are installing a car or truck transmission from a 57 and newer . I dont think the car trans has them therefore, things wont bolt up!

OK, the case of my trans says T86-E. It looks like the one on the bottom of Julie's post, with the cover on the top. It does not have the raised cast area to mount the bracket to. It came out of a '59 F100, but that doesn't mean much. It could have been swapped in from something else. If there isn't a part to make it work, I'll have to fab something up. I think we are getting close to an answer though! What does the linkage from the '59 F100 look like? I never saw the truck myself.

Can a hydraulic clutch be adapted to a '55 pedal system? I went out and looked at the bell housing and there it was! The spot that the slave cylinder mounts onto. I also have an earlier bell that doesn't have that mount, and could swap it out and fab up a way to use the mechanical clutch. That would be easier than trying to hook up the hydraulics, if it would work. I love a challenge!!
