New to forum, just bought a 2008 F250, many questions
I bought a 2008 F250 used and the truck is great. I have a few questions about it becuase I did not get a owners manual.
1) I was missing a cover under the cig. lighter. What is supposed to go into that opening?
2) The passanger locking hub moves very easily from lock to free. The drivers side is much harder to move. Is there a problem here?
3)I will be towing a 5th wheel with this truck. I have seen that Ford has a electronic brake controller that mounts into the dash. Can that be added to my truck or should I go with a after market controller
4) I have the jack but I am missing everything else for changing a tire. What do I need?

For your jack, on the passenger side is that location. The handles and the lug wrench should be behind the drivers side, in a black bag. It would contain the handle with extension and the wrench.
If you bought it from a dealer, I go back to them and have them provide it.
For the TBC (trailer brake controller). If the truck did not come with it then it will be cheaper just to add an aftermarket unit. The factory one would also require changes to your master cylinder I beleive.
If the truck is under warranty I would take it in for the hub. Sounds to me like it needs serviced, but since you just bought it maybe they will make it right. A good pm on those hubs is turn them and run them for a few miles every month, unless of course you are using the system.

I own a 2006 so I'm not sure what the layout of your truck looks like compared to mine. But you can alway's go the parts dept. at Ford and they will pull up the parts drawing for you. And the order the tray or cover whichever it may be that goes there. And again, like Senix said that if you bought it from a dealer you should ask them to make it right and provide whats missing.....
