3 Inch body lift

When you install a 3 inch body lift on a 89 f250 do you have to run new brake lines or do you just bend them a bit to get it to work? Also does the shifter linkage need to be modified?

i would suggest new brake lines, and the shifter should just be a little shorter, no other issues that i know of

you dont NEED them, but if i ever got a body lift, i would def change them out

Why does everyone keep getting body lifts?

They are cheap for a reason. They are junk. They cause everything to be positioned incorrectly and they look bad.

A body lift does nothing more than lift the body...it doesn't give better clearance.

well the body lift may not give you better clearance but it does give you the ability to but on bigger tires which will lift the whole truck higher and give you better clearance duh!

lol im all for a body lift if u stay on paved or dirt roads with the occational cruise threw ur neighbors yard lmao but i would save for a suspension for more wheel travel if u like to go bouncing threw the cow pasture do mach 90 like me lol..... im pritty positive that u dont have to do any thing with the brake lines with a 3" body lift unless the kit states other wise... u will need a 1/2" drill bit for the bigger bolts tho...

dont need new brake lines. you will have to lenthen the shift lever for the transfer case and if you have a manual transmission you can lenthen the shifter to dont think its nessesary though. iv done both of mine 94 is an auto and i had no problem with the linkage. 99 is manual and i lengthend the shifter 3"
