Removing the Center Instrument Panel

I converted my 98 Expedition from an air suspension to springs using parts I ordered from Strutmasters. The shocks and springs are installed and now I am trying to disconnect the Check Suspension warning light. Strutmasters instructions call for removing the center instrument panel to gain access to the Suspension Control Module but does not say how to make that happen. Anyone got a link or information?

That is definitely a good start. The poor picture that came with the springs shows a location on top of the dash in the middle. Any idea how that part is removed?

Isn't the light on your instrument cluster ? All's I did on the wife's 97 was pull the cluster then pull the bulb. There's no need to pull the center if your light is in the cluster, if yours is in the cluster ignore what they sent you.

That sounds better than what I was thinking might be required. I like it. No other problems with just pulling the bulb?

My wife's 97 had the air suspension when she bought it, and I did the same conversion you did, as a result the warning light was on. I just pulled the cluster and the bulb with no other effects on anything else. I've also pulled the cluster on my 99 to fix the odometer blackout problem. My 99 doesn't have air suspension.
