Free FE parts

Tried to post in classifieds but since there was no price, it wouldn't take.

Cleaning out the garage and found a bunch of parts.
Everything listed will be free for pick up or you pay shipping.
Everything is in San Jose, CA..

Timing cover.

C-6 transmission. Needs rebuilt. Fixed yolk and no speedo gear ( divorced 4X4 ) with torque converter

All above will go to recycler if no response

Thanks, Ken

pair of rebuildable C6ae heads. They have smog ports that are capped.

Pair of rebuildable C8ae heads.

Timing cover.

Harmonic balancer and pullies.

C-6 transmission. Needs rebuilt. Fixed yolk and no speedo gear ( divorced 4X4 ) with torque converter

Tranny dust shield

exhaust manifolds from a 72 truck. 2 driver side and 1 passanger side(brick). I think all 3 are in good shape.

2 starters for cores

All above will go to recycler if no response

Thanks, Ken

1966 was a transitional year. If the suffix on the casting number is "R", you have taller intake ports and larger combustion chambers.

I know the C8 heads came off a stock 72 truck.
Not sure what the C6 heads came off. I know the engine was a 390 and had a police interceptor intake and non adjustable rockers. The C6 heads also have smog ports so I'm sure they are later.
I can check further into them tomorrow if you are interested.

I have one guy on another board interested in the heads but he may flake.
1976Highboy, does your truck run? engine complete? what does it need?
These heads have some weight to them. Shipping may not be worth it for rebuilders.

This week has been busy but I did weigh one of the heads and it came to 52 lbs. I figure probably around $60.00 to ship a pair. I can get a complete cost on Monday or Tuesday if you are still interested.

heck ya, ill take whatever you wanna give, unless another guy has an immediate use for it. I have a buddy that ports heads, typically for motorcycles but still can do the auto heads too. I think maybe with the second pair Ill send them to him and give it a try. Are you sure they will work on a Target 390?

Hey Ken, If you still have a drivers side exaust manifold i could use it! the one in my truck had a broken blot in the exit, i had to put headers on, but i hate them. it would be nice to switch it back one day soon. just let me know, thanks.

I shipped a set of COAE heads from CA to a feller back east VA? 2 years ago, ran $78.00 with insurance for $600.00 thru UPS. No crate just cardboard 4 x's and shrink-wrap at each stage. Weighed about 82lbs IIRC, too bad he didnt want a cast intake I mighta got to see that UPS boy break a sweat LOL

I have a good drivers side manifold for a 72. it is yours if it will fit your truck.
I'm sure shipping would be less than $20.00.
PM me your info and I will get a cost.
Ken
