Wide Track Steering?

Is this available on all S/D SRW, that is if I'm calling it the right thing.

Thanks

Wide track is not available for SRWs. It's the standard axle for the 450s and was/is an option on the 350 DRWs. I heard it wouldn't be available on the 2011 350s but haven't been able to verify that.

It got dropped from the 2010 F-350 trucks as well. Ford said there weren't enough takers to justify keeping it as an option. It's still on the F-450 though.

I have it on my truck. If you ever have to make a tight U turn you will appreciate the feature. I am sorry to hear that it will not be available on the 2011's.

I absolutely love mine. Huge difference backing and turning with a trailer. Big mistake to get rid of it IMO.

If you have ever driven with and without wide track steering you definatly want it. I hate to see it go away.

2 x 6 bulldog:

You said what I meant. I had a 2005 F-350 long bed dually. Same with my 2008. So much better, backing, turning and stability. The wide track was one heck of a feature.

My work truck is a 2006 F450 and my P/U is a 2008 F250. The 450 will turn inside the circle of the 250 even though it has a 12 foot utility bed. Like the others have stated it's a difference of daylight and dark backing a trailer.

Thanks for the info guys.
