Angry front end has violent shake,92 F 150

my son just purchased a 92 F150, on the way home the truck began a very violent shake as he entered a right hand curve.
I jacked up the truck to check out the tie rods and ball joints, also the drag links and the wheel bearings every thing is good. I went as far as to see how much play was at the steering knuckle all is well.
My next thought was a weak power steering box, or power valve?
Has any one had this kind of trouble? I do need help with it. Almost freaky when it happens it shakes the entire truck. thank you all for any help.

Was your sons foot on the brake? Could be a very bad rotor.

If all else fails-have the toe checked in the front alignment. If the toe in is incorrect-it can cause this death wobble.

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee that did this when brand new-it had incorrect toe in from the factory and caused this DW/death wobble. Dang scary!!!

well if you checked all the front end componets and everything is up to par, then i would go and check air pressure in ALL tires, get them balanced, and an alignment.

Rotor's looked good no groves or war-page, the brake pads wore down enough for a change out, I like the toe in thought, I can check that when he gets home this week end, just had to send him 100 to put a new battery in it. thanks for the thought's I am will to listen to any and all. JNT

This might be a stretch, harmonic balancer but that would cause a shake all the time.

F150 violent shake

Hi, I experienced exactly the same shaking in exactly the same right hand curve, and it went away after I stopped the vehicle to check it out. Did you ever figure out what was causing that on your son's truck?
