Thank you. Are there any upcomming get togethers for chapter members? I am looking to learn all the secrets on upgrades for my truck. I have a 2005 F-350 W/ a 6.0 L diesel. Banks stinger and lost the cat. Reciently replaced FICM and replaced the EGR cooler about a year ago. Had to sue Gaudin Ford in Vegas to get the EGR cooler paid for under warranty.

 

Nothing planned right now, and there probably won't be anything until around the first of the year.

I'm sure we can help get you pointed in the right direction as far as upgrades go....it's always fun to spend someone else's money.

Out of curiosity, how many miles were on your truck when the EGR cooler went bad?

 

About 48,000 when the EGR cooler let go. I also did the high idle mod from this site. I am currently looking at bright lights for the headlights and fog lights. Possibly replacing the cat with a sleeved one. To be able to pass smog next year.

 

Yeah, you're gonna have to have something on there to pass. I've thought about gutting mine, but I'm chicken
