1997 F-350 with 45,873 miles

Up for auction a 97 F-350 Crewcab 4X4 460 engine with 45,873 miles. Anyone have any idea what this truck might bring? I'll try to buy the truck if it does not go too high.

There are an awful lot of variables involved in deciding what a vehicle could be worth...what kind of condition is it in, was it a plow truck, was it well maintained, does everything work, etc. etc. Low miles on an old truck is probably as bad or worse as high miles on a new truck.

Take a look at Kelly Blue Book or NADA web sites to try to determine what this truck MIGHT be worth based on what you know about it. Then bid according to what you DON'T know about it.

If you have a chance to test drive and fully inspect the vehicle prior to bidding on it, I'd highly recommend you do so. Otherwise you could be getting into a money pit.

Just my opinion of course. Good luck.

My brother just bought one with 100,000 for 3900
with the same setup my guess is depending on the condition it could go as high as $6500
