Hey Walford's 56, you want one cheap. Like $3000 or B.O description 1956 T750,
spected out to a 900, yes biggest front axle offered, 34# rears 5X3 (with OD),
master guide power steering. I have done some body work However the truck has
hardly no miles on it perfect chassis double frame (perfect) original tires never run
on pavement, problem is it was never registerd so there is no title bought new by
a local college for big bucks for students doing tree work. 332 with 4bbl square
bowl Holley. Also 20 ton front cable winch, and 192" chassis.
sam and I think you wont live alone because it is very respectable appearence.

What a great truck for a heavy-duty wrecker! I want it! Just out of curiosity, is the white on the cab stock? My '56 F-350 is trimmed out the same way, but I always assumed it was done this way when it was repainted, long before I got it.

BigJob,

What part of the country is the yellow tandem located? I'd love to see it up close and personal!

Talk about your buddy system. I'll bet they were wishing they had 89 hp. ;-)
Similar story. I've read that Model T owners in mountain areas had to turn the car/truck around and go backwards back up hills. A few years ago my 80+ year old aunt (now gone) was telling us about a vacation her family took out west in their T. I asked if the story was correct, and she said it happened to them too.

That's a great looking '56. You "need" it. You know that "need" is something you really, really, really want! Stu

My tandem

You hit the nail on the head yes its the economy. I am just thinning
down a little. My big plan was an aluminum about 17ft dump body,
and that would work just perfectly. Like I said the down side, is no
title (which you can get around that) and the idiot that specked out
the truck new, with hydraulic brakes. (they stop on a dime) but I
can't use my air brake trailer on it. The truck is in Mass about 25 min
from Providence RI sam

I thought I heard some folks talking about me.....lol. to clear a few things, that T-700s been around the for sale world for almost 2 years. Also, my truck is now a '54, and it has a Caterpillar motor. The '53 F-700's had the 254 flat head six. The F-750 had the 279 Lincoln motor, and the F-800 had the 317 Lincoln motor. The '53 didn't come tandem, but could be ordered with the aftermarket conversion. Sam, I want your big jobs. Mine will be getting the Cat replaced with a 5.9 Cummins, and a few added goodies to kick it around 650 hp, and an Allison automatic. The Cat is a boat anchor, and I can't justify spending $5k to run a Cat, when I can build the crap out of a Cummins for less. Oh yeah, I aint been around, because I've been busy. We can't have anymore kids (wife had to have hysterectomy after our youngest due to onset of cervical cancer). We've got our three, and that's where it stays. If I get a baby fix, I search for more trucks lol.

Kids?

Joe, kids or (mine) were a lot of fun, just like little kittens, but watch
out when they grow up. Im sure you heard about the latest. You know
my oldest is a professional con man. Another fire truck. He wants to
stuff that 3208 cat in his 54F900. He has not paid me back for the F900,
and not a dime for this truck, but he can parade around in a 2009 Focus
and all I got is a 78 F150 that just blew a head gasket after the turkey
a quick change and back in my dungin to reassemble. Also update on my
youngest Mikey dragged in another Mustang. His roster 5 Mustangs, 7
F150s 250s one mercury grand markee two rice burners and a triaxle of
fenders seats junk junk. So now I think back, that maybe I rather change
diapers, but the wife says cool it, their home not causing trouble.
