anyone know how to get the rotors off a 1979 dana 44......ive got the hub half apart and ran into a locking nut with four grooves in it that i cant get off...its holding my wheel bearing in place....do i even have to go thru these steps to take the rotor off

 

You need a dana 44 hub wrench. It looks like a giant socket with 4 tabs on it. You can get them at any parts store for around 20 bucks.
