There's a woman named Michelle Cole that seems to be an expert on N series Fords. I think she's a member here, but after a quick search of the members roster I didn't find her sign on name. If she doesn't show up to comment, you can find her over at the ATHS site. Here's a link to a N series thread over there that has her contact info. Stu

Hey thanks guys! Ive been having a heck of a time finding anything the last couple days. I did a search here but got a ton of tractor stuff and like 21 pages of threads... LOL. I hope I can find more info still.

Does anyone know of a site that has some basic sale values for these trucks?

I don't know of any sites that give a value on these trucks....
I take it you are looking at a N600??
What kind of Bed is on this truck??
Can you use it for anything? Or is it just to have?
To me one of these trucks is worth more if has a bed on it that is usefull...... versus a water or fuel truck, or fire truck, that you would have to put a bunch of money and work into to make it usefull for anything but a parade vehicle.
Its worth whatever you are willing to pay for it......500.00 to 3000.00 ????? These old trucks can be had cheaply if you shop around...
I'll never sell mine, I use it to much. Its worth more to me to keep than I could sell it for.
PICS?????

Well the truck im looking at has a 500 gallon tank on the back, its a brush fire truck. It wont be hard to remove the tank and i figure i could sell the tank for enough money to get my flatbed materials. My ultimate goal is to build a flat bed with sides then eventually to build a dump setup for it. Ive known the truck for almost my whole life kinda. My dads company owned it then sold it to my local fire dept. The fire dept. put a ton of money into the whole truck. They did a ton of motor work, replaced alot of suspension / bushing stuff, new paint, tires etc. Along with upgrades to the fire equipment. I dont know, I might just keep the tank and slip it on for parades and what not here and there too. But my primary reason for trying to get it is the price and it would be an easy setup for hauling just about anything i would ever need. I haul a lot of rock, bark firewood, etc... Seeing as how i own a lawncare business. Been using my 3/4 ton swapped f-150 for over a year now. It works but not too easily...LOL. I know that its a great deal on the truck, but am just kind of curious about what these are worth since this style seems to be pretty rare. Mainly I need to focus on where to get differant parts as needed, and I am thinking about putting a diesel motor in it. I remember the guys my dad worked with talking about it bieng a dog ( that will be decided for sure once i can get my hands on it though). Im hoping maybe tomorrow to get over to it and snap a few pictures, Its in great shape.

With a tank on it I wouldn't pay much....500.00 or 1000.00 if it was real nice...Low ball em..There is NO market for old Tank trucks. What are they asking?
The N series seem to go for about the same as a comprable F series, from what I have seen.
I think the N would just be a little harder to get body parts.

Thanks for the input. They are trying to get 400-600 for it. I myself when I first saw they were selling was prepared to pay up to 1500 on it... LOL.

That sounds like a good price. Leaves you some room to put a bed on it etc without breaking the bank.
As far as me needing another..Ones enough...drivers married carries no cash
Good luck, Pics when you can...
