My wife and I are both certified padi wreckdiers and are interested in seeing more than Lake Travis in Austin. Any suggestions were we can dive in Texas?

Aren't there any good beaches to dive in the gulf? I suppose there must be, but you're probably looking for something closer to home.

I would love the gulf, especially the Flower Gardens I keep hearing about. But my wife likes things a little more contained like lakes. She's afraid of the wide open and sharks. I tell her not to focus on the size of the area but what is right in front of her and she could enjoy it more.
